Sweet. My first grandchild is a girl about that age. The joy she brings is beyond words. Happy birthday.

Jim, with the possible exception of Nova, Mrs.al in la and JohnnyB, no one melts my heart like you.
What a "looker"!
What a sweetie! And the best present for Grandpa's birthday.
Oh Mr Al
I expect you to bond
She is to die for
congratulations!
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
...May she stay forever young
She's an adorable little girl.
1. Show very adorable child.
2. Get slight reprieve in judging backlog.
3. Get a few days more for sad humiliation by wearing Mets hat.
"You're in my chair"
What an adorable cutie...and your grandchild is precious too.
Little Nova Lee (heiress to the Anti-Cap fortune) will one day appreciate the irony of Grandpa's Mets cap. It would have been easy for Grandpa to be brought up a Yankees fan, since he shared a birthday with slugger Mickey Mantle. But, the family saw a different -- and nobler -- road for alinsi. And we are all the better for it.
Happy birthday, al. I see your beautiful gift is sitting right next to you.
Shut up, al, everyone knows your granddaughter's a clip-on.
1. Just for Men looks very natural
in photographs.
2. Next to the adorable child,
there appears to be a Mac in
your lap. Perhaps you are
perusing Craigslist or ordering
music on iTunes. Whatever the
case, you certainly
aren't using it to judge this
contest.
3. Don't make us wait until you're
54, al.
4. Happy birthday.
O.K. I see the photo. To the left? Your left or my left?
Only a jerk would put family ahead of judging a backlog of caption contests.

In case anybody didn't know...NY stands for Next Year.
I thought NY stood for not yet.

(")_(") Bunny Wabbit for Nova Lee!
You know, in the six years that I've submitted captions, I never met anybody who wanted to win as badly as I did. I'd do anything I had to do to increase my advantage. Anybody who tried to block the pursuit of that advantage, I'd just push 'em out of the way. Didn't matter who they were, or what they were doing. But that was then. You have special talent, a gift. Not the contest's, not the entrants, not Myra Fleener's, not mine. It's yours, to do with what you choose. Because that's what I believe, I can tell you this: I don't care if you judge anymore anti-caption contests or not.
